Mission Brief / About

CAD-to-hardware engineering with manufacturing judgment.

I am a Mechanical Engineering student at Hofstra University, Class of 2027, focused on mechanical design, CAD modeling, additive manufacturing, GD&T, manufacturing systems, and hands-on engineering problem solving.

I will be joining Stellant Systems as an Engineering Intern/Co-op in Melville, NY, where I am continuing to build experience in high-performance engineering and manufacturing environments. My technical foundation includes SolidWorks, Siemens NX, GD&T using ASME Y14.5, 3D printing, prototyping, MATLAB, FEA, thermal simulation, and engineering documentation.

I enjoy bridging digital design and physical hardware through modeling, prototyping, troubleshooting, fit checks, and manufacturing documentation.

Desktop CPU cooling project with a 100 W heat load and 25°C ambient air.
Task
Develop a compact heat sink that satisfied ≤85°C and evaluated a ≤70°C derated target.
Action
Used MATLAB trade studies, Fusion 360 thermal simulation, SolidWorks drawing work, DFMA, BOM planning, and validation planning.
Result
Selected a 15-fin Al-6061 design predicted at 69.85°C in MATLAB and 69.775°C in Fusion 360 under modeled boundary conditions.
